I hope everyone had fun at the ball Friday night.

Whoever started the food fight at lunch, I blame you for the fact that I washed my hair at least five times and there's still edible remnants that won't leave.

The ball is only three days away! I almost lost track of time...

And the survey goes up...should I go with cute and flouncy? Or a bit more sophisticated? I don't want to seem boring, but I don't know if the ruffles are too much on the first one...

This not being able to use magic thing is beginning to get just a bit annoying. I do hope everything is back to normal soon.

It makes me feel vulnerable, and I'm not sure I like that feeling.

Is it just me, or is the Divination homework always really easy? I can't tell if I actually have a knack for these things, or if I'm just coincidentally on point and really creative because of all the books I read...

It's exciting to finally be back, though I did enjoy my summer holidays quite a bit, there are just some things you can't replace. I did get some new books in Muggle London when I stayed there a few days with my Aunt if anyone is interested in checking them out.

I can't wait for the shopping madness that will ensue Hogsmeade weekend. You never know what you need to be prepared for at this school...
